Hey there!

Welcome to my blog, and my very first blog post! It only made sense that my first blog post be an introduction and a little about who I am. If you have been following me on Instagram, I’m guessing you know the little snippets here and there that I share. About things going on in my day, food, fashion and essentially a bit of everything.

Here we go…

My name is Maham. I was born in Pakistan but moved to Toronto, Canada and spent the majority of my life here. I got married a little more than a year ago to my better half!

As many of you were able to follow along, we got married in our hometown Peshawar, Pakistan. Going back to Pakistan to get married was bittersweet in the best way possible! My husband and I laugh a lot and enjoy every single moment together, whether it’s a big vacation trip or grocery shopping on a Tuesday. We are a team and work together on almost everything we do, including my website and Instagram. He’s usually the one behind the camera, wondering to himself whether he made a mistake picking up photography as a hobby ;).

I recently graduated with my Honours in Applied Sciences in Child Studies. Contrary to what my early morning snaps suggest, I absolutely love my job. Watching kids absorb the lessons and environment around them is a truly rewarding experience.

Work aside, I love cooking and baking! Growing up, I would love watching my Mama cook and then imitate her style while making a Nutella sandwich. I’m a lover of anything sweet so baking is a bonus for me. I mean…I need to have something to eat with my chai while I Netflix and chill, right? (BTW I usually skip the cheesy rom-coms, all about thrillers and suspense movies instead!). I’ll make sure to post some of my favourite recipes up on the blog for you guys!

Is there a more admirable word then LOVE to express my love for travelling? Travelling is a big part of my life and luckily that goes for my husband and family too! I enjoy the whole process of travelling including booking the perfect destination, making notes and lists and even the 4-hour layover in the middle of nowhere. My favourite part of travelling you ask? Exploring other cultures and seeing the different ways people live. I’m hoping to share more about the destinations I’ve been and continuously add to it over time!

Until next time,

Always,

Maham
